BidBharat is account-free by design, so the data involved is small: what you submit, and what a successful bid generates.
What we collect
BidBharat has no accounts and no sign-up. When you submit a startup, we store the web address you enter (in canonical form), the category you pick, and the optional city. The startup's name, tagline and logo are fetched automatically from that site's own public pages.
What bidding generates
Placing a bid creates a payment record: the amount, a timestamp, the payment status, and payment-provider identifiers for the order and transaction. This is what drives the rankings, the bid history and the City Battle totals.
How information is used
Submitted data and bid records are used to run the leaderboard: displaying listings, detecting duplicate URLs, calculating ranks and city totals, and validating that a bid meets the current minimum before payment.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details go directly to Razorpay and never reach BidBharat. We store only what the board needs: amounts, statuses, timestamps and the provider's order and payment identifiers.
Cookies and analytics
BidBharat does not currently use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies.
Data retention and removal
A listing and its bid history stay on the board while the listing is live — the leaderboard is a public record of bids. Since there are no accounts, there is no account data to delete; requests to remove a listing can be sent to support@bidbharat.lol.
Third-party services
BidBharat relies on Razorpay for payment processing, on managed hosting and a managed database to run the board, and loads startup logos and metadata from the startups' own websites.
