BidBharat

RULES

The short version: bid in rupees, claim a position, and hold it until someone bids higher. These rules keep the board fair and live.

How bidding works

Submit a startup's web address, pick a category (and, optionally, a city), and place a bid in rupees. BidBharat detects the startup's name, tagline and logo from its own site — you never need an account to submit or bid.

Your bid claims a position on the live All India leaderboard. Every bid is also a point for the city entered with the listing in City Battle.

Minimum bid and bid steps

The minimum bid is the lowest rung of the live bid ladder shown on the claim form. Bids move in flat ₹100 steps. The minimum is re-checked on the server when your payment is created — if someone bid higher while you were entering an amount, you'll be asked to meet the new minimum.

Ranking and the leaderboard

Startups are ranked by their highest successful bid. The board updates live as payments complete, with All-time and Today views and category filters. City Battle ranks cities by the combined bids of their listed startups.

What happens when a claim is displaced

When someone bids higher than a startup's current top bid, that startup moves down the board and the higher bidder takes the position above it. The listing stays on the leaderboard with its latest successful bid — being displaced never removes a startup from the board.

Valid submissions

Each startup has one listing, keyed to its canonical web address — resubmitting the same site returns the existing listing. Submissions must be a real, publicly reachable website you have the right to promote, in one of the listed categories.

Not allowed: sites that are illegal, deceptive, explicit, infringing on others' rights, or that impersonate another company or person.

Payment and claim conditions

A bid only counts after its payment succeeds and the listing is activated. Failed or incomplete payments never appear on the board and never hold a position.

Abuse and manipulation

Fake bids, automated or scripted bidding, self-dealing designed to inflate a position, and any attempt to game the rankings are prohibited. Listings and bids that break these rules can be removed.
